Analysis
Two euro figures in OpenAI's Heimstaden case study sound alike and are not. The reported one: in the Netherlands, producing a virtually staged property image fell from about EUR50 to less than EUR0.10. The estimated one: EUR130,000 a year in savings potential for that market, which is not audited realized savings.
The case study, dated November 3, also reports that half of Heimstaden's employees adopted ChatGPT Enterprise within two to three months of its September 2025 launch, and that a Codex-supported project assessed 20,112 property assets. Adoption is a usage figure, not a productivity result.
This is a vendor and customer case study. No independent productivity audit was checked. Employees remain responsible for reviewing and approving decisions, so this is staff working with tools, not autonomous property management.
Before quoting the saving to anyone, ask which figures are measured and which are projected. The per-image cut is a reported result; the EUR130,000 is a projection.

Why it matters
A cost cut that has happened and a saving that is forecast read alike in a headline. Telling them apart is what makes the figure usable.
